Mary Lois Timbes graduated from the School of Organic Education in Fairhope and grew up very much a part of the town. After living all over the world, she returned to her roots in 1988. As a professional journalist, actress, and public relations executive, she brings a rare insight to Fairhope and the many interesting characters who have made up the history of this experiment in utopian living on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico.
